Product Description

Rotary Gear Pumps (CGX) series flange mounted rotary gear pumps are used for general purpose application to pumping all above oils and viscous liquids. Also known as gear pumps, they produce a smooth flow of liquid for applications such as engine lubrication. All are self-priming, which means they create a suction force to draw liquid upward. This moves the fluid on a repetition inside an enclosed fixed volume with the use of interlocking gears and cogs.

Rugged Construction and Superior Efficiency

Featuring a sturdy cast iron body and a shaft made from alloy steel, the CGX Rotary Gear Pump is engineered for longevity even under demanding conditions. The use of sintered bronze for internal bush offers excellent wear resistance while the double ball bearing structure guarantees smooth, low-noise operation. Its efficient rotary gear mechanism and positive suction ensure reliable fluid movement, meeting IS 8472 standards.

Versatile Industrial Applications

Specifically designed for industries that require the transfer of viscous liquids, the CGX pump is ideal for moving oil, diesel, and lubricants. Its self-priming capability, combined with a 5-meter maximum suction, ensures the pump performs optimally in a range of setups. Painted and coated surfaces provide additional protection against corrosion, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Simple Installation and Maintenance

The foot-mounted design of the CGX Rotary Gear Pump allows for quick installation and easy alignment on site. The Teflon gland packing ensures effective sealing, reducing the risk of leaks, while the manual/direct control system offers straightforward operation. Minimal maintenance is required due to its robust build and high-quality components, making it a cost-effective solution for continuous duty cycles.
