Reliable Handling of Viscous Liquids

DW Rotary Gear Pumps are built to handle a vast range of fluid viscosities, making them suitable for oil transfer, diesel, light and heavy oil, and lubricants. The precision helical gears ensure smooth, low-noise operation across varied industrial environments, while robust seals deliver long-lasting, leak-free performance.

Customizable and Versatile Design

Available with diverse port sizes and mounting options, the DW Series adapts to specific operational requirements. Whether you need clockwise or counterclockwise rotation, different shaft seals, or unique inlet and outlet configurations, these pumps can be tailored to fit virtually any application, ensuring compatibility and ease of integration.

Built for Enduring Performance and Safety

Constructed with anti-corrosive coated mild steel, the pumps meet stringent IS/ISO standards and are suited for high-pressure tasks. They operate within a broad ambient and working temperature range, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor installations in diverse climates, all while maintaining low noise levels and ensuring safety.

FAQs of Rotary Gear Pumps (DW):

Q: How do DW Series Rotary Gear Pumps accommodate different viscosity levels?

A: The DW Series pumps utilize precision helical gears and offer a viscosity handling range up to 100,000 cSt, making them ideal for transferring highly viscous fluids such as heavy oils and lubricants. This design ensures smooth and efficient pumping across a spectrum of liquid types.

Q: What applications are these rotary gear pumps suitable for?

A: These pumps are primarily used for oil transfer, lubrication, hydraulic systems, and fuel injection. They also perform well in applications requiring the movement of diesel, light oil, and heavy oil, thanks to robust construction and self-priming abilities.

Q: When is it beneficial to choose a DW Series rotary gear pump over other types?

A: DW Series rotary gear pumps are highly beneficial when high pressure, efficient handling of viscous liquids, and reliable priming are required. Their self-priming and positive suction features make them ideal for intermittent operations and challenging suction conditions.

Q: Where can these pumps be installed?

A: These pumps can be mounted on a base for both indoor and outdoor environments, within ambient temperatures up to 50C and working temperatures ranging from -10C to +80C. They are suitable for plants dealing with oils, lubricants, and fuel transfer.

Q: What is the process for customizing inlet/outlet port sizes or configurations?

A: Customization is straightforward; pumps are available with port sizes from 1/2 to 6 BSP (threaded) or flanged options. Customers can specify their requirements during the ordering process to ensure the pump fits seamlessly into their system.

Q: How does the anti-corrosive body coating benefit the pumps longevity?

A: The anti-corrosive paint protects the mild steel body from chemical and environmental degradation, substantially extending the pumps operational lifespan, especially in harsh or outdoor settings.

Q: What maintenance procedures are recommended to maximize pump performance?

A: Regular inspection of seals (mechanical or gland packing), lubrication (oil bath or grease), and cleaning of the pump internals are advised. Following the manufacturers guidelines helps maintain optimal performance, reduce noise, and prevent downtime.
